 A.     Who is the controller of your personal data? 


We inform you that the personal data that you provide us through the Website will be processed by Salto Systems, S.L. ("Salto") with registered address at C/ Arkotz 9 Pol. Lanbarren 20180 Oiartzun (Gipuzkoa), for the purposes described below.

 The only personal data that Salto will have access to through the Website will be those that you voluntarily provide through the communication means available at the Website (Partner Area, Software Area, Contact Us, MyLock, Events and Work with us). In this respect, you are informed that, in order to carry out your registration through the Website and in order to render certain services to you, you will be asked for personal data. The boxes indicated with an asterisk (*) are strictly necessary to manage your registration, as well as to provide you with the services offered through the Website. Failure to provide such necessary information will entail the impossibility of managing your registration request and providing the aforementioned services.

 You confirm and guarantee the veracity and accuracy of the data provided, and that these are adjusted to your current status. In this sense, you agree to communicate any changes that may occur in them, in accordance with the procedure established in section F. “What rights do you have when you provide us with personal data?”,reserving Salto the right to exclude from the registered services any user who has provided false data, without prejudice to other actions that proceed in Law.

You will now be informed about the purposes of the processing that Salto will carry out on your personal data and the legal basis of said processing activities.

 In case you register through the Software Area

  1. Based on the contractual or pre-contractual relationship
    1. Manage your registration through the Software Area.
    2. Provide the service or product contracted by any mean, in order to allow the software download and its installation.
    3. Management, maintenance and development of the contractual relationship with Salto or any of Salto’s subsidiaries that can be found in https://www.saltosystems.com/en/contact-us/ (“Salto’s Subsidiaries”) as a consequence of the contracting of the products offered through the Website.
    4. Communicate your data to other Salto’s Subsidiaries and/or to Salto’s partners corresponding to the geographical area where you are located (“Salto’s Partners”), in order to guarantee the provision of services according to the criteria established by the Group and ensure certain standards and quality of the contracted service, depending on the place where you reside.

    1. Communicate information to public authorities, regulators or governmental bodies in those cases in which it is necessary to do so by law, local regulations or compliance with regulatory obligations.

    2. Management, maintenance and development of the existing contractual relationship between you and Salto.
    3. Provide all the information necessary to carry out your activity, as well as keep you updated with all the technical and commercial issues related to Salto products.
    4. Communicate your data to other Salto’s Subsidiaries, which can be consulted in the following link https://www.saltosystems.com/en/contact-us/, in order to manage, maintain and develop the relationship with you.

  2. Based on a legal obligation:
    1. Communicate information to public authorities, regulators or governmental bodies in those cases in which it is necessary to do so by law, local regulations or compliance with regulatory obligations.

  3. Based on the legitimate interest of Salto:
    1. C.     Who could receive your personal data?


In the terms described in section B. “Why and for what will we process your personal data?”, Salto may communicate your personal data to public authorities, regulators or governmental or jurisdictional bodies in those cases in which it is necessary to do so by law, local regulations or compliance with regulatory obligations. Likewise, in accordance with the above referred section B., Salto may transfer its personal data to Salto’s Subsidiaries (which can be consulted in the following link https://www.saltosystems.com/en/contact-us/), or to Salto’s Partners, in the terms set forth in said section.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, Salto relies on the collaboration of some third party service providers who have access to their personal data and who process the aforementioned data in the name and on behalf of Salto as a result of the provision of services.

In this sense, Salto follows strict criteria of selection of suppliers in order to comply with its obligations in terms of data protection and undertakes to sign with them the corresponding Data Processing Agreement, through which it will impose, among others, the following obligations: apply appropriate technical and organizational measures; process the personal data for the purposes agreed and taking into account only the documented instructions of Salto; and delete or return the data once the provision of services ends.

D.    Will we carry out international transfers of your personal data?

 The aforementioned recipients can be located, in some particular cases, outside the European Union. In those cases, Salto requires that said recipients comply with the measures designed to protect the personal data established in a binding contract, except in cases where the European Commission has determined that the country where the recipient is located provides an adequate level of personal data protection. You may obtain a copy of Salto's required measures by contacting Salto at the address listed at the end of this policy.

E.  How long will we keep your personal data?

  1. In case you register through the “Software Area”: 

    Your personal data will be stored until the moment in which you express your desire to unsubscribe and cease receiving updates of the software. 

    In case you have given your consent for the sending of commercial communications and/or for communicating your data to Salto’s Subsidiaries in order for the latter to send you commercial communications, your data will be kept until you express you want to unsubscribe and to stop receiving Salto’s and Salto’s Subsidiaries’ communications.

  2. In case you register through the “Partner Area”:

    In case of Partner Area, until the moment in which you express your desire to cease being a Salto Partner and cease having access to the information available at Partner Area or, even before, in case Salto considers for any other reason that you have ceased being a Salto’s Partner.

    In case you have given your consent for the sending of commercial communications and/or for communicating your data to Salto’s Subsidiaries in order for the latter to send you commercial communications, your data will be kept until you express you want to unsubscribe and to stop receiving Salto’s and Salto’s Subsidiaries’ communications.

  3. In case you contact Salto through the "Contact Us" or "MyLock" section of the Website:

    Your personal data will be stored for the time strictly necessary to attend and process your inquiry and/or request.

    In case you have given your consent for the sending of commercial communications and/or for communicating your data to Salto’s Subsidiaries in order for the latter to send you commercial communications, your data will be kept until you express you want to unsubscribe and to stop receiving Salto’s and Salto’s Subsidiaries’ communications.

  4. In case you contact Salto through the "Events" section of the Website:

    Your personal data will be stored for the time strictly necessary to manage your attendance at Shows or events indicated on the Website.

    In case you have given your consent for the sending of commercial communications and/or for communicating your data to Salto’s Subsidiaries in order for the latter to send you commercial communications, your data will be kept until you express you want to unsubscribe and to stop receiving Salto’s and Salto’s Subsidiaries’ communications.

  5. In case you communicate your data through the "Work with us" section of the website:

    Your data will be stored the necessary time to process the selection processes in which you participate or may participate, being destroyed when we decide that there is no process in which your profile can fit.

    In any case, your personal data will be kept for a maximum period of 2 years in the case of your Curriculum Vitae. Once such period has elapsed without you having become part of our team, we will destroy your Curriculum Vitae.

    Without prejudice to the above, in case you had participated in any selection process but you had not become a member of our team for whatever cause, after the mentioned 2 year period and notwithstanding the destruction of your Curriculum Vitae, we will keep a record with your name and with the evaluation result of your selection process in order to manage in a more efficient way your potential participation in future selection processes.

 

In all the cases included in this section, once these deadlines have passed, we will proceed to the suppression of your personal data at the time in which all the necessary actions have been carried out to manage and terminate any obligation that may remain between the parties, carrying out in such period, all the necessary administrative procedures.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, your data will be kept properly blocked, as long as responsibilities for the execution of our relationship with you can be derived, as well as for compliance with other legal obligations.

In this regard, Salto guarantees that it will not process the data unless it is necessary for the formulation, exercise or defence of claims or when it’s required by the Public Administration, Judges and Courts during the period of prescription of their rights or legal obligations.

F.     What rights do you have when you provide us with personal data? Where can you submit a claim?

 We inform you that in accordance with current legislation you can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, data portability and not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, proving your identity (by means of a copy of ID or equivalent), through delivering the form that can be found in https://partnerarea.saltosystems.com/privacy/REDSR_form_eng.pdf, duly filled out, to the following address: Salto Systems, S.L.
